Pear, Gorgonzola, and Walnut Pie

You will need:

  • 200g Gorgonzola
  • 150g Ricotta
  • 50g Grated Parmesan or another hard cheese
  • 3-4 Pears
  • Walnuts
  • Honey (optional)
  • Puff pastry or shortcrust pastry (this time, I bought ready-made, but the recipe is here)

Mix all the cheeses. (You can use only Gorgonzola, increasing the quantity, but ricotta will help to soften the taste a bit.)

Spread the mixture onto the pastry and, using a fork, distribute it without touching the edges of the dough.

Next, slice the pears and distribute them over the cheese.

Add walnuts.

Fold the edges.

Bake at 180 degrees for 35-45 minutes.

Let the pie cool, and if desired, drizzle a bit of honey over it.
