Pear, Gorgonzola, and Walnut Pie

  • 200g Gorgonzola cheese
  • 150g Ricotta cheese
  • 50g Grated Parmesan or another hard cheese
  • 3-4 Pears
  • Walnuts
  • Honey (optional)
  • Shortcrust or puff pastry (I used ready-made this time, but the recipe is here)

    Mix all the cheeses together. (You can use only Gorgonzola, increasing the quantity, but ricotta will help soften the flavor a bit.)

    Spread the cheese mixture on the pastry, and using a fork, distribute it without touching the edges of the pastry.

    Then, slice the pears and distribute them over the cheese.

    Add the walnuts.

    Fold in the edges of the pastry.

    Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 35-45 minutes.

    Let the pie cool, and if desired, drizzle with some honey.
