Orange and Apple Cake

You will need:

  • 230g Flour
  • 180g Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Small oranges (juice and zest)
  • 90g Vegetable Oil
  • 8g of baking powder
  • A pinch of baking soda
  • 1 large apple
  • A baking tin of 22-24cm.

    I used 1 medium orange instead of 2 small ones.

    To start, wash the oranges thoroughly.

    Cut them into pieces and blend them.

    Then add sugar to the blender and continue to blend.

    Next, add the eggs and vegetable oil.

    Finally, add the flour and baking powder.

    Place the batter in a baking tin.

    Thinly slice the apple and decorate the surface.

    Sprinkle with brown sugar (if desired).

    Bake for 45-50 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.

    Before removing from the oven, check for doneness.
