Benefits of strawberries:

How to keep strawberries fresh for as long as possible?
There are many ways. You can sort the berries and rinse them with water and apple cider vinegar in a 10:1 ratio. This will get rid of the initial mold formation. You can freeze them. You can make jam, but I’ll tell you what I do to keep strawberries in the refrigerator for 2-3 days or even longer.
☝?but if you are going to eat strawberries within 2-3 hours, then there is no need for a refrigerator.
- Under no circumstances should you wash strawberries if you do not plan to consume them. Water promotes the formation of mold.
- Sort through the strawberries. Remove all the bruised and spoiled ones.
- Make sure they are not wet.
- Take a large container and some kitchen paper/naps. Lay the napkins on the bottom of the container and place the strawberries on top, without squeezing them together or laying them on top of each other.
- After laying the first layer, cover it with napkins and repeat the same process for the second layer… You can store the strawberries in the refrigerator without covering them.
My strawberries lasted for more than two days. Although the seller did not recommend keeping them longer than until the evening of the same day. ? Unfortunately, 2 kg of strawberries cannot be eaten in a couple of hours, but my strawberries held up quite well except for 3-4 pieces.
