You will need:
- 3 Eggs
- 170g Flour
- 160g Sugar
- 60g Butter
- 120g Milk
- 16g Baking powder
- 2 Apples
To start, heat the milk and melt the butter inside it, without bringing it to a boil.
Whisk the eggs and sugar for about 10 minutes until they have a light and fluffy consistency.
Sift the flour and baking powder twice.
Now, gradually add the sifted flour, alternating with milk and butter.
Mix very gently with a silicone spatula, using gentle top-to-bottom motions.
Pour the batter into a prepared 22 cm baking pan.
Thinly slice the apples and arrange them on the surface of the cake.
You can also sprinkle a small amount of brown sugar on the surface of the cake.
Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 40 minutes.
Check for doneness before removing it from the oven.
Let the cake cool and serve!
